Here is a summary of the engineering continuing education requirements mandated by the Louisiana Professional Engineering and Land Surveying Board. Continuing Education or PDH is known as Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in Louisiana.

|Course content approval||Any program with a clear purpose and objective which will maintain, improve or expand the skills and knowledge relevant to the licensee's field of practice. Subject matter which is technical in nature or addresses business management practices, professional ethics, quality assurance, codes or other similar topics which facilitate the licensee's professional development as a professional engineer or professional land surveyor, and/or serves to safeguard life, health and property and promote the public welfare. For professional who design or build buildings or building system should have a minimum of 8 PDH in code related areas, Safety Codes, Building Codes, or ADA ( American with Disabilities Act) courses.|

|Online courses||Accepted, there is no limit on the number of online courses taken.|
DiscountPDH credits have been accepted by the Louisiana Professional Engineering and Land Surveying Board, as well as all other U.S. state boards that require continuing education for P.E. engineers. Our PDH courses or webinars never rejected by a state licensing board.
