Course summary:
The purpose of this course is to establish minimum conditions for the interior environment of a building. The sizes of spaces, light, ventilation and noise intrusion are all addressed in order to define the minimum acceptable conditions to which any occupant may be exposed. Design options of natural and mechanical systems are introduced and the criteria for performance are specified.
