This course provides an overview for Centrifugal pumps. It explains the operation of centrifugal and positive displacement pumps. Topics include net positive suction head, cavitations, gas binding, and pump characteristic curves.  Centrifugal pumps are the most common type of pumps found in DOE facilities.
